The Hapless Hank is a collection of one-of-a-kind adornments made for people who don’t do ordinary.

Every piece is handcrafted - no templates, no duplicates, no mass production. Each one is created individually, guided by texture, movement, and instinct.

Some lean bold. Some feel a little unhinged. None are meant to blend in.

This started as a way to keep my hands busy, influenced by the 20 years I lived in New Orleans - something creative alongside my work as a therapist. What began as a side project quickly became something more: a space to make pieces that feel expressive, personal, and a little fearless.

I’m drawn to contrast - vintage and modern, delicate and dramatic, structured and undone. That tension shows up in every piece.

Nothing is replicated. Once something is gone, it’s gone.

WEAR IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT.

This photo is of me with my grandparents (and my always-intrusive little sister/best friend). My grandfather had a quiet but lasting influence on how I move through the world. He believed in building something of your own and following what pulls you, even if it doesn’t make perfect sense to anyone else.

That stayed with me.

In a lot of ways, this work is an extension of that - making something tangible, trusting instinct, and letting it be what it is.
